Day 190 – (AD 620) – Jim's Trek Part III – 21.4 Miles – 12,700.7 Miles on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning I pedaled my Schwinn 170 21.4 miles.

The grand total keeps mounting. Miles – 12,700.1; kilometers – 20,439.8. And I have completed 51.0% of my overall goal. Just think, I am now over halfway done. Each one percent equals just about 250 miles.

My virtual Trek is currently and most definitely a flat vista. And there is red dirt and blue sky, as far as I can see. I am located in Western Australia about 10 miles or so in from the north-western coast. I am on the National Route 1 somewhere between the East Harding and Little Sherlock Rivers.

My blood sugar dropped 5 points this morning. Last night I made myself a double helping of Shrimp Scampi Linguine…and of course I had to have my almost nightly dose of Ben and Jerry’s. My fasting blood sugar count this morning came in at 96 mg/dL; 5.33 mmol/l. This of course means that my A1c is keeping a range just below 5.11.

I do not write myself off as illiterate or not-intelligent.  Okay I understand, or should I say I try to understand a little something about media and their methods.  I think I understand their numerical needs to report the news.  But pray tell, why is the positioned Top Story in Google News, first thing this morning, about the warrant issued for the arrest of a football player slotted as the number one story above the proposed military campaign against the Islamic State militants?  Does this mean that there is an inherent and fundamental, and I do not want to use the word but... conspiracy to keep the "supposed" general population of this American society in a hierarchical state of obscurity?

Is this supposed to be a play on words? (From TBO – Crime & Courts, Sep 13…) “Eight injured when wall falls at Tampa’s Hard Rock… The wall, which was made of wood and sheet rock, was placed a few weeks ago to separate the existing casino from a construction zone designed for a future high limit slots area, Bitner said… There was no warning signs…Operation at the casino has not shut down and it will remain open…” And why was this story reported as Crime & Courts?

Just got back in from the North Tampa Market at the Carrollwood Cultural Center. Interesting.

Jim’s Trek has now racked up 49,657 pageviews.
