Day 395 – (AD 825) – 23.1 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Cape Tribulation On My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

On the 395th day I cycled 23.1 miles on my Schwinn 170.

I had to go the distance to get to my 15th of 19 goal points and destination on my Trek Part III. I have now pedaled in 825 days a total of 17,185.6 miles; 27,657.6 kilometers.

Today I reached Cape Tribulation on the north east coast of Queensland. It is located within the Daintree National Park and has a population, 2011 census of 330.

Just another 86.6 more miles to go to get to my 16th destination and goal point.

Saw my diabetes doctor on his final day of practice yesterday.  He's retiring.  And I seem to have been a success story regarding my diabetes.  My A1c was a bit elevated at 5.9... but I am still now after 825 days of pedaling and just 2 1/2 months shy of two years without any necessary diabetes medication in the Normal Low Risk range.  Period.  Hot damn!
