Day 228 – (AD 1,133) – 23.7 Miles – Jim's Trek Part IV – Now Into Austria On My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning I cycled 23.7 miles on my Schwinn 170. Totals – 24,249.1 miles; 39,025.2 kilometers.

Virtually I crossed from Slovakia to Austria.  Red arrow points to me.  The countdown is at 2.6% remaining.

I am now located in Austria at Donau Straße, 2304. This is the satellite image from 50 feet up. Guess what? The Google Maps little man appears not to have Street View access in Austria.

Just got a call from what appeared the United Kingdom - "44 207 946 1691".

"This is Jason I am calling you about providing you home security services..."  

Why in hell is someone in the United Kingdom concerned about my home security system?

I then discovered that someone else also received a very similar call from the almost identical number "207-946-1691".  This is the message that was provided in response to the bogus call "Yet another telemarketer that spoofs the number and adds 144 as the prefix.  They will do ANYTHING possible to get through."

Oh yeah, the area code 207 is from Portland, Maine.

Don't you wish you call call an end to the campaigning?

Day 227 – (AD 1,132) – 22.5 Miles – Jim's Trek Part IV – It Failed On My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Today’s pedaling, and I didn’t want to do it, was another 22.5 miles on my Schwinn 170.

Google Maps now has me located at Mierová 30, 821 05 Bratislava, Slovakia. I am now 41.7 miles from my next destination and goal point. And there is 2.7% of my overall Trek remaining.

Soapbox –

If Donald Trump is running and hoping to represent the Republican ticket am I missing something when he is sort of saying that

“he was open to raising taxes on the rich…and breaking one of his party’s core policies dating back to the 1990s…Trump released a tax proposal last September that included broad tax breaks for businesses and households. He proposed reducing the highest income tax rate to 25 percent from the current 39.6 percent rate. "The middle class has to be protected," Trump told NBC. The rich are "probably going to end up paying more," he said.”

And this morning I baked, or should I say I tried to bake two loaves of No-Knead bread.

Well they baked. One success – White Sourdough Flaxseed;

the other, hell I’m not sure what it is… I used White Whole Wheat and Coconut flours, Sourdough Starter, Yeast and Trail Mix.
