Day 409 – (AD 839) – 22.1 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – No Soapboxing or Thinking Today On My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Well this morning I pedaled another 22.1 miles on my Schwinn 170. Another word – reliable. Yup, that’s it. My totals are now 17,497.0 miles; 28,158.8 kilometers.

I just cycled through the city of Townsville, which is considered the unofficial capital of Queensland. Its population is about 200,000 and it may have been somewhere to consider a number of years back. The average temperatures are 67.6 to 84.0 °F…but it can be kinda wet during the rainy season; average annual precipitation 45.6 inches. (Tampa ranges from 70 to 90 °F, with 44.7 inches.)

I am located on Bruce Highway and I now have 233 more miles to go to get to my next destination and goal point. Countdown is now at 29.73% remaining.

And my blood sugar dropped 5 points and my A1c calculated at 5.40%.

Last night supper was my versions, of course, of a Black Bean, Corn, and Feta Salad and Dirty Rice.

(I’ll be updating Jim’s Gotta Eat with my recipe and ingredients.)

But I couldn’t not get through the evening without a bowl of Coldstone – Chocolate Fudge and Cherry ice cream.

This is my 896th post. According to Blogger Jim’s Trek has recorded, as of this morning, 68,882 Pageviews. Haven't got a clue why but looks like the number of Pageviews jumped by at least 250 more than the norm.

And I'm not soapboxing this morning.  I can't be bothered to search and see what asinine or Palin-Bachmann-ism a current or would-be candidate has recently released.

I welcome comments or thoughts or ideas. Please feel free to contact, email me at Jim’s Trek.

Be healthy and enjoy your day.

Jim
