Good Day,

The Ark is in the back yard.

This morning another 22.3 miles on my Schwinn 170. Grand totals recorded – 18,960.6 miles; 30,514.2 kilometers.

And I am located at 25-29 Bungan Head Road in Newport, New South Wales.

10 Cherished Beliefs of Highly Successful People, Jeff Haden

They believe success is inevitable only in hindsight…Success is never assured. Only in hindsight does it appear that way. If you're willing to work hard and persevere, who you are is more than enough. Don't measure yourself against other people. Pick a goal and measure yourself against that goal -- that is the only comparison that matters.

According to Kim Komando “Google Maps does something when you pester it.

Loaves #11 and #12 out of the oven. I made each in two parts.

I am currently located at 268 Scenic Highway in the Central Coast, New South Wales. I am now 42.1 miles within range of my final and last destination and goal point. All-things-being-equal 2 more days to go.

Loaves #11 and #12 prepped; 54 more to the habit.

And Grandpa will be babysitting this afternoon.

Day 472 – (AD 902) – 22.3 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Counting on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Today I pedaled 22.3 miles on my Schwinn 170.My totals - 18,915.7 miles; 30,441.9 kilometers.

I am traveling on the Pacific coast road and I am currently located on Elizabeth Bay Drive in the Bugewoi Peninsula, New South Wales.

My countdown clock has paused at 70.6 miles left to go.

Thank you for comments and questions. They always get me thinking. And to those of you who do use Social Media remember that there is no one dictating to you what you have to do, to think, to write. Your CPU does have an On/Off switch… and you can move your mouse cursor to the button.

Question - Why is that, (in my opinion), the fair percentage of persons who, at best like to consider themselves artists, are the ones most concerned with copyright issues and infringement?  Charles Caleb Colton did coin the phrase "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery".  And Oscar Wilde chimed in that "Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness."

Some persons have accused me for soap-boxing my political sidings and preferences. Obviously the maxim that readers only read and comprehend about 10% what they read holds fast and true. It has always been apparent that I have not in any way expressed my leanings on the political spectrum shy of my writing that I may be a Centrist who may swing to the left and/or to the right dependent upon my own understanding of any specific issue. My soap-boxing has always been about, or I have insinuated that, the lack of knowledge and logical thought processes of the mass and the electoral constituencies. If any so-called social media friend wants to delete the “friendship” connection that’s his/her business. Definitely no sweat off my back or off from any other part of my body.

I have been looking for something, some word to express that which I would like to achieve in our quilting designs. I believe finally, maybe and for the time, it is Cymatics. How do we transcribe that to the quilting echoes of our work. The earliest representation of Buddha was by his footprint, which seems to contain many interesting esoteric symbols that are redolent of cymatic pattern.

Day 471 – (AD 901) – 23.2 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Almost There on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Only 92 ½ more miles to go. I’m counting the Google inches.

This morning I pedaled 23.2 miles on my Schwinn 170. Total to date – 18,893.4 miles; 30,406.1 kilometers.

I cycled through Newcastle, stopped at Wharf Road

and then continued on to Ocean Street in the area of Whitebridge, New South Wales.

Now The Atlantic’s headline proclaims that “The 2016 U.S. Presidential Race: A Cheat Sheet. Ohio Governor John Kasich’s announcement Tuesday means the Republican field is now complete [sic]”.

A cheat sheet? Is this a subliminal message for advertising the newest of new maths? Does this number of candidates signpost a true reality of how confused the American electorate is and exponentially escalating about the state of its politics and governing expertise?

Hell the FEC is currently listing 500 possible individuals who have filed a Statement of Candidacy, and we’ve got 16 months to weed and whack. I think I am going to learn Basic Mandarin…maybe that’ll help and point me to the right candidate.

(也许这会帮助,并指出我的合适人选

Looks like I will be having surgery on my foot-bottom in a couple of weeks. Sonogram and MRIs are not revealing anything of immediate identification. The thing in the square's gotta come out.

What does it mean? I may have to rest for a couple of days at some point as I begin Part IV of my Jim’s Trek.

Day 470 – (AD 900) – 22.4 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Keep Pedaling on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Today is my 900th day riding and pedaling my Schwinn Fitness cycles in 961 days. I began on December 2, 2012 and, if I can use the old math, I have rested a mere 61 days.

This morning I pedaled 22.4 miles on my Schwinn 170. Totals – 18,870.2 miles; 30,368.7 kilometers.

And this morning I reversed direction and I am headed toward the south east. I am located at Lot 7 Medowie Road in Medowie, New South Wales.

Countdown – 117 miles.

My early morning blood sugar jumped 12 points to 112…still okay though, but the reason –

I made and devoured a major slice of my Yellow Blueberry Cake with Butter Cream Cheese Icing. And would you turn away from this?

This late morning, after cycling, I visited Where Minds, Machines and Masterpieces Meet at the Dali Museum. And next exhibit – Escher at The Dali.

Day 469 – (AD 899) – 22.4 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Countdown on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning I pedaled another 22.4 miles on my Schwinn 170. Totals: 18,847.8 miles; 30,332.7 kilometers.

Today I am headed in a northwesterly direction…and if you have been following my Trek in any way you’ll note that I can switch directions at any day at a given point. This morning I am located at Myall Street in Tea Gardens, New South Wales.

Countdown – 131 miles, plus or minus, to go.

Running some errands today, no time to soap-box.

Loaves #9 and #10 completed.

Should be interesting trying my version of the Goetta.

Also tried to make a Yellow Blueberry Cake with Lemon Cream Cheese icing.

My blood sugar count rang in this morning at 100. Control. Control. Control.

Day 468 – (AD 898) – 22.1 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Cooking and on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Still recouping from some sort of mild croup and summer flu…but I had to continue on my pedaling and try to sweat out whatever the ailment. Oh and by the way I figure that the best, for me that is, whenever I have one of these fully congested colds and things, is the Bob Evans Chicken N Noodles Soup.

This morning I cycled another 22.1 miles on my Schwinn 170. My marked totals are: 18,825.4 miles; 30,296.6 kilometers.

I changed my route somewhat toward my final destination. I veered south east and I am now located on what looks like an unpaved road – Bombah Point Road. It’s at Bombah Point in New South Wales.

Just how many more days do we have until Election Day? And we will have to put up with the name-calling and the pure crap…all in an effort to spin the votes. Mitch Albom of the Detroit Free Press writes it well in his headline “Donald Trump leads poll, but boredom is winning”. Another 16 months of this garbage. “It’s July — of 2015! The election isn’t for another 16 months. You want to know how long 16 months is in the American attention span?...Five billion? To elect a leader? Who will then tell us how he or she plans to be fiscally responsible?

Early morning blood sugar count registered at 102 mg/dL. Could have been a combination of the flu-bug and a sizable helping of what definitely tasted like comfort food. Gnocchi with Zucchini, Sausage, Tomato, Red Pepper, Onion, and Garlic, topped with a bit of grated Parmesan and Romano Cheese.

I began an endeavor to make Cincinnati Goetta. And while I’m figuring out that recipe I am making Loaves #9 – Cranberry, and #10 – A Whole Wheat Variation.

Remember that ya’ll need to call first to make some reservations.

And our quilt work update, yes the house still looks like a sweat shop… Quilt in the ditch begins the design for Roo Royale.

Day 467 – (AD 897) – 22.2 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – 1 ½ % Remaining on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Moving much slower this morning, and because I am getting so close to the end of my 10,000+ mile journey and Trek I cannot, I am certain that I will not take a day off from pedaling. I am now just being my normal pig-headed self. And so I pedaled 22.2 miles today on my Schwinn 170. My totals – 18,803.3 miles; 30,261.0 kilometers.

And to date I have pedaled a total of 10,186.2 miles as part of Jim’s Trek III, the Australia part. I am headed west now and I am at Lot 31 on The Lakes Way in Mayers Flat, New South Wales.

Countdown – 160 miles. 1 ½ % of my trip is left.

That’s it for this post.

Day 466 – (AD 896) – 22.5 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Yup, on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning, with the aches of a summer bug of sorts, I pedaled 22.5 miles on my Schwinn 170. Almost didn’t get on my cycle and of course I had to check my biorhythm cycles. As I’ve written before I do not hold with a day-to-day following of these cycles…but sure enough my Physical and Intellectual cycles are headed in a downward direction. But by hell or high-water, I am going to finish Part III of this bloody Trek.

And today I am located on The Lakes Way in Forster, New South Wales. As I am headed south I’ve got Wallis Lake on my right and the Pacific Ocean on the left. I borrowed one beautiful vista image by BananaDoctor of the Seven Mile Beach, on Google Maps.

I may have added a few more miles to the final leg of my Trek. I now have 181 more miles to go to get to my final destination.

And so my healing lunch(es) for some time, Chicken flavored ramen and Ginger-Ale, but of course not mixed.

And since my Intellectual cycle is also on the downward spiral...enough written.

But the good news is that my fasting blood sugar registered at 90.

The blue line is my moving A1c forecast.

Day 465 – (AD 895) – 23.1 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Still on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Today, another 23.1 miles on my Schwinn 170. Totals – 18,758.6 miles; 30,189.1 kilometers.

I’m back on A1/Pacific Highway and located in the area of Koorainghat in New South Wales. Countdown = 187 miles.

Short to the point today.  Thursday's my volunteer day at the Family History Center.  Today is pedaling, bread, and genealogy. Period.

Loaf #8, I added a ½ cup of dried cranberries and replaced the 1 ½ cups of water with 1 ½ cups of Cranberry Juice.

Slice of à La Hemp and Cranberry with Canadian Cheddar. Excellent.

Day 464 – (AD 894) – 23.1 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Soap-boxing on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning I cycled 23.1 miles on my Schwinn 170. I have now racked up a total of 18,735.5 miles; 30,151.9 kilometers.

I am still traveling southwest and today I am located at Koolyangarra Way. My countdown clock has stopped at 210 miles.

I believe I have found the starting point of the beginning of Jim’s Trek Part IV. You’ll just have to wait and see. And-all-things-being-equal my podiatrist will not be slicing open me foot-bottom none too soon.

No-Knead Bread, à la Hemp; Loaf #7 before and after…before the real after.

No-Knead Bread, à la Hemp - Before

No-Knead Bread, à la Hemp - After

Early morning blood sugar count dropped 22 points to 91. Supper included Italian Salami Fried Rice and Stir-fried Zucchini with Mushrooms and Onions. And of course a bowl of ice-cream.

And the subject of my soapbox, the Greater Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church, Inc. .

Letters from the Greater Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church (don’t forget the Inc.) have been issued to their “delinquent” members. That’s right, an attending parishioner of the Greater Mount Moriah Primitive Baptist Church received a letter dated July 2, 2015 highlighted to the “Subject: Financial Delinquency”. Yup, she had not paid her dutiful tithes, her responsibilities, her obligations, her prescribed contributions…

And obviously this church, I would think a 501c3 organization, reviews "your financial contribution record" and assesses/requests/requires/demands "the amount needed to retain your membership."  I’m sure this is a new and warped and abridged interpretation of Matthew 19:14, and of Matthew 5:3.

Day 463 – (AD 893) – 22.8 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Yes I’m on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Up early this morning to run Bella to the vet, time for teeth cleaning. And so I started my pedaling a wee bit later than my usual time. I cycled another 22.8 miles this later morning on my Schwinn 170. My totals are 18,712.4 miles; 30,114.8 kilometers.

My location on the virtual part of my journey is at 70 Tallong Drive in Lake Cathie, New South Wales. Believe it or not I only have 234 more miles to go and then I have finished Australia.

And this morning, I made No-Knead Loaf #6. The house is filling with the tempting wafts of fresh-made bread.

Trying a different blend for Loaf #7: 2 ½ cups of white flour; ½ cup of whole wheat flour; and ½ cup of hemp. The experimental stages have begun; 59 more loaves to go.

Yogurt Mountain is the anti-boon to my blood sugar count. Count up 19 points…but the choices are good; some despicable orange smooth yogurt sloshed on top of lavender citrus yogurt something I can’t remember its name, topped with Maraschino cherries and blueberry fish eggs and a drizzle of wild-berry syrup. Ant there is the 9-ounces and 19 points.

Day 462 – (AD 892) – 22.5 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – 13 More Days on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning I cycled 22.5 miles on my Schwinn 170. My totals to date: 18,689.6 miles; 30,078.1 kilometers.

Today, following the Google Bicycle path, I am located on Maria River Road in Crescent Head, New South Wales. As long as I follow this path I believe the little drag-on Google Map Man will disappear for a while. In other words, I don’t think that the Google Mobile group never venture out on these paths/roads.

Countdown – 286 miles. At this rate 13 more days.

Gov. Scott Walker is in. An even 20 notable (?) candidates are now running for our 2016 Presidential election. (And my dyslexia is in high gear this morning on my keyboard.) According to The Green Papers dot com there are now 550 candidates. So if there are 484 more days until the next election that means that I have to research 1.13 candidates every day ‘til then.

July 13, 2015, 8:24 am – Customs Clearance, United Clearance. Sleep Jezebel and Warhol’s Itch are still on their way to Birmingham.

No-knead loaf #6 in the make.

Day 461 – (AD 891) – 22.6 Miles – Jim's Trek Part III – Short Ride on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Happy Birthday CK.

I pedaled 22.6 miles this morning on my Schwinn 170; real part.

I am located somewhere on the A1 Highway in the area of Clybucca, New South Wales; virtual part.

Countdown – 309 miles.

Blood sugar – 92 mg/dL.

Supper last night a first time effort, Butter Chicken on long-grain rice with Vegetable Samosas. I added carrots, celery, and green peas over what was called for on the package. And I forgot to take an image.
