All Orange tops of our Cranes Spectrum have been completed.

Next step, 6 tops to sandwich and work our quilting designs.

Yes, that is Andy. The Orange Set tops are spread out on the tables and the Red Set Quilts are hanging behind him.

Hope this answers those who have asked "What exactly are we doing?"

And yes, I finally figured out how SnagIt was incorrectly saving my color images as black and white. The fix; as I am saving an image there is an Options link. Somehow the Options black and white choice had been tripped. I changed it to color, and viola.

As a last resort I asked Google Search the question. I was directed to the correcting link.

Jim’s Gotta Eat – https://jimsgottaeat.blogspot.com/

Absolutely fabulous! Fregola Sarda con Scampi, Piselli, e Aspargi. Wow!

I’ll make this one again.

I got the recipe from my copy of "Autentico, Cooking Italian the Authentic Way". Excellent book. A copy of the page 200 is on Google Books.

Reading – “Here’s How Much Money You Save By Cooking At Home”, Forbes, Priceonomics, July 10, 2018.
“But just how much money do you save by cooking at home? We decided to analyze our recipe data to find out the true cost of cooking at home from scratch, compared to delivery from a restaurant or a meal kit service.”

Okay, I know that it has always been Lay's tagline to "Bet you can't eat just one!", but has the over consumption of chips and/or ruffles really set the Aussie mindset in a twirl? So I expect more than one is a spud's overdose?

"Australian police crack down on European potato chip drug syndicate", CNN, Bani Sapra, July 11, 2018

My early morning blood sugar went up to 121 mg/dL Must have been the late night snack of an apple.

Good Day,

Today I pedaled 23.8 miles on my Schwinn 170. Totals are now 34,703.6 miles; 55,850.1 kilometers.

I am now located at 84.37% to my new destination and goal point on Mars.

Google Earth still saving in black and white.

Something new and different –

I've got into the habit of messaging the originator of a Facebook friend request. I do this instead of immediately responding to their friend request.

Last one's, (supposed a Facebook employee), conversation eventually offered me $195K.

My final retort was that I would only accept the equivalent in FB shares.

Last night’s supper was an interesting journey. Grilled Wings with Shishito Peppers and Chinese Broccoli.

My assessment; A Redo.

Fresh Marjoram Bread hot of the oven. Chirping can be heard about 10-feet away.

Day 451 – (AD 1,610) – 23.3 Miles –Jim’s Trek Part V – Mars on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Today I pedaled 23.3 miles on my Schwinn 170. Totals are now 34,703.6 miles; 55,850.1 kilometers.

I am now located at 81.24% to my new destination and goal point on Mars.

And at this point, I haven't got a clue why my Mars maps and some of my images are featured in black and white. I'm trying to figure that one out.

My biorhythms are certainly on the downside for Physical and Intellectual Cycle.

But as my Emotional Cycle is reaching its cyclical peak, I guess I have nothing to worry.

I’m just taking it easy.

Something new and different –

It is great that the young Thai soccer boys are being rescued.

What about all the other children in the world who need rescuing?

Jim’s Gotta Eat – https://jimsgottaeat.blogspot.com/

Tried the following for supper. My twist on Filipino Ginisang Togue – Mung Bean Sprouts with Chicken.

And a side of Thai Spicy Crispy Edamame

Tonight’s supper should be an interesting journey. Grilled Wings with Shishito Peppers and Chinese Broccoli. Stay-tuned for my thumbs’ discussion.

My early morning blood sugar is holding at 111 mg/dL

Something to think about –

Exasperation!

Disgust!

Frustration!

The current situation is the result of the continuous “dumbing down” of Americans due to a more than lack-luster depreciation of the American educational system. Period.

Jim’s Gotta Eat – https://jimsgottaeat.blogspot.com/

Supper last night – Fried Scallops in Garlic Lemon Ghee on Linguine and a Baby Spinach Salad.

And today I’m back to baking bread. Today’s fare - Something different: No-Knead White Whole Wheat with Omaha Steak Seasoning.

Just had a packet of the Omaha Steak Seasoning sitting on the counter, and I thought “Why not?”

For supper tonight, I’m going to make Seafood and Corn Chowder. I’m using Shrimp and Pollock.

Supper menu - Seafood Chowder and Fresh Baked Bread.

Good reading from the Chicago Tribune, “How to leave those bottled dressings behind and make your own vinaigrette”, Becky Krystal, June 29, 2018.

“I am the kind of person who buys a bottle of salad dressing, uses it once and then promptly forgets about it in a jumble of other condiments until well after the expiration date. I suspect I'm not alone.”

Good advice. I started doing this some 20 years ago. Saved me one hell of a lot of money.
