Day 183 – (AD 613) – Jim's Trek Part III – 22.1 Miles – I Can See, I Can See on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning I cycled 22.1 miles on my Schwinn 170. Grand total to date 12,549.7 miles; 20,196.8. Only 49.6% more to go.

And the little drag-on-pegman is back again. Big brother Google can watch me once again on my crazy Trek through Western Australia.

I am located and heading north on National Route 1. I now have 581 more miles to go to get to my next destination and goal point. And is it my imagination or does the dirt just look redder?

My fat percentage was down by 0.1% this morning to 18.8%. I’m pleased with the downward trend of the moving average, that's the red-dotted line. It looks like my overall goal of 18.0% is still on track.

I've mentioned a number of times that as long as I have a video companion without commercial breaks as my companion during my morning pedaling my exercise routine seems to go by quite quickly. Today I have found a series from Ireland called Raw. Not bad, but it does revolve around the operations of a restaurant. Praise be that it is a "soap-opera" and not a cooking show. It keeps my mind pre-occupied and my legs just keep pedaling.

Florida politics are primitive and non-operational… I was just wondering who and where the master puppeteer gets his/her/its inspiration? And does our electorate truly understand the power of the numbers of its voice?

We’re are moving to the completion stages of two current projects – HKM-A quilt and wall hanging and Afghan #6. Afghan #5 is in strip pieces on the dining room table. We are currently working on the design for our new quilt and wall hanging Sleep Jezebel.

Day 182 – (AD 612) – Jim's Trek Part III – 22.3 Miles – I Made It With Blinders on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning I pedaled 22.3 miles on my Schwinn 170. I also finished up 200 sit-ups.

Once showered and shaved, and after getting myself ready for my volunteer work at the FHC I decided that it's time for me to get rid, (okay I need to do it), all of the "large" clothes in my closet. I do not want to appear that I am poor-be-done starving man who looks like he needs to be fattened up a bit.

And I am located today in one of the part of Western Australia where Google appears to have foresaken in their database of continuous road travel images. I'm still on the Northwest Coastal Highway but other than the 2-mile up image of my route, I cannot tell you anything more than that. I think the little draf-on-man will be returning tomorrow.

My fasting blood sugar registered 88 mg/dL. Not bad for a Thursday morning after.

New learning for this man - There are 36 underground cities in Cappadocia, Turkey and the deepest one is Derinkuyu underground city, while the widest is the Kaymakli Underground City. I am enthralled and amazed. Who knows what where Jim's Trek IV may lead me...once I complete number III in Australia?

Day 181 – (AD 611) – Jim's Trek Part III – 21.8 Miles – Reached 50.2% of My Ultimate Goal on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Today I crossed the 50% mark on my Schwinn 170. This morning I cycled 21.8 miles and my grand total miles are tallied at 12,505.3 miles; 20,125.4 kilometers.

I am currently on Pannawonica Road, I think, in Fortescue, Western Australia. The little drag-man still doesn't work.

This image is a little bit north of where I am located on the road. I thought that I would be able to see my whereabouts.

My statement – Read all the fine print when adding a new device or new Internet service to your collection. Read the fine print.

Lunch today at Jai Ho…and yes I pigged out. Indian cuisine, buffet at lunch so you can imagine the Naan and Tandoori Chicken, and Curried Goat. And four plates later, did I tell you that I love to eat?

And while I am talking about food, check out this abstract from JN The Journal of NutritionInstant Noodle Intake and Dietary Patterns Are Associated with Distinct Cadiometabolic Risk Factors in Korea. Guess I will be preserved in the times to come...

Day 180 – (AD 610) – Jim's Trek Part III – 21.9 Miles – The Little Man is Lost on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Midnight in the front garden of good, albeit jungle, of Interlake Drive, Tampa.

This morning, 21.9 miles on my Schwinn 170. Total as of today 12,483.5 miles, 20.090.5 kilometers.

I am headed north on the North West Coastal Highway and I am still in Western Australia.

If I could figure out an MP3 recording I could be repeating this location over and again. The little Google drag-to-point-man doesn’t work again. I wonder if the Google people decided that as this area of land was so desolate that it may be a waste of time and area to continue with the image sequencing for some time. The satellite image from 200 feet produces some neat green arteries.

Yes this is from the front of a store near my home in the Tampa Bay area... and it isn't a consignment boutique.  Flash back to the 1970s.

Where are the disco lights?  Someone lost their way en route to Woodstock. Baby-boomer power...

The pseudo-bamboo quilting pattern and design is really working on our new HKM-A quilt. And Afghan #6 just continues to lengthen.
