Day 149 – (AD 1,054) – 22.7 Miles – Jim's Trek Part IV – On My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning I pedaled 22.7 miles on my Schwinn 170. Totals at this point in time – 22,428.1 miles; 36,094.6 kilometers.

I am now headed east and I am located at SS115, 92027 Licata AG, Italy.

And yes my 2 of 3 of my biorhythms cycles today are into the doldrums.

The three primary biorhythm cycles are:

Emotional: This cycle tracks the stability and positive energy of your psyche and outlook on life, as well as your capacity to empathize with and build rapport with other people.

Intellectual: This cycle tracks your verbal, mathematical, symbolic, and creative abilities, as well as your capacity to apply reason and analysis to the world around you.

Physical: This cycle tracks your strength, health, and raw physical vitality.

Do I accept these? Not sure if I do…but when I am feeling that sort-of with the blahs I check them, after-the-fact. Then I just take it easy, and try to warm up my feet.

One bottle 12 oz. bottle of Mexican Coca-Cola increases my blood sugar count by 10 mg/dL. But it tastes so, so much better… Mexican Coca-Cola is made using cane sugar while the U.S. version of the drink contains the artificial sweetener high fructose corn syrup. High fructose corn syrup is less expensive than cane sugar.  But it’s so good…and I can taste the difference.

Day 148 – (AD 1,053) – 23.5 Miles – Jim's Trek Part IV – 10.0% Remaining On My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

10% Remaining… I have completed 22,405.4 miles in 1,053 days. 90% of my Trek is done.

This morning I pedaled 23.5 miles on my Schwinn 170. Totals: 22,405.4 miles; 36,058.1 kilometers.

I am located at SS115, 92100 Agrigento AG, Italy. I am headed in a south-easterly direction, and I still have 10% more of this journey to complete…pedal.

I am not the only one who uses the Google Maps and the Google Mapping Mobile to live in a virtual world.

Flim-flam and snake-oil salesmen that’s all they are and I am not, necessarily, referring to politicians. They’re just as bad.

Last night a commercial interrupted my train of vision and television film. 2 easy payments of $19.99 plus s&h for “a symbol of the unwavering faith and lasting love of our Lord, Jesus Christ...The Birthplace of Christ, Close to Your Heart. Nativity Stone Cross.”

The Nativity Cross. A gold tone or classic stainless steel cross with a stone chip contained in at the center included with a 21” diamond cut rope chain, plus, plus, plus that includes a stone chip form the “only stones ever to be removed from the Manger Room in the Cave of the Nativity, excavated just a feet from the star that marks the birthplace of Jesus Christ.”

What a crock? And to top it all there is a 2016 copyrighted Arbitration Agreement linked for the paperwork. Who the bloody hell are the suckers who are buying these special, must have tokens of blessings?

Oh yeah, I can point to a free-market of customers voicing their support for the right extremists in this 2016 presidential campaign…

Last night -

And they are falling (failing) fast...

Day 147 – (AD 1,052) – 23.0 Miles – Jim's Trek Part IV – On My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Today I pedaled 23.0 miles on my Schwinn 170. My totals are now 23,381.9 miles; 36,020.2 kilometers. And I have 10.1% of my grand-total distance remaining.

My virtual position is at Strada Provinciale 75, 92010 Montallegro AG, Italy. Would I like to be there right now? Hell yes. I can only dream.

Damn, 10 more months. Sarah Palin speaking, to me is akin to nails run down a chalkboard.

"Maybe Mrs. Palin or her speechwriters think the convoluted sentence structure makes her sound smart. Maybe they think it makes her sound heroic, like the orators of the past. Or maybe all those extra clauses are just a really good way to load up a sentence with praise — or insults. “Anna North, NYT, 2/2/16...

And another one bites the dust. Rand out. Period.

I have a question. When a candidate says s/he is suspending his/her campaign, does that mean, based on the definition of the verb suspend, (to temporarily prevent from continuing…), s/he may be coming back to the foray?

Day 146 – (AD 1,051) – 23.7 Miles – Jim's Trek Part IV – On My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

This morning I pedaled another 23.7 miles on my Schwinn 170. Totals now stand at: 22,358.9 miles; 35,983.2 kilometers.

I am headed in a south-easterly direction and am located at SS115, 92019 Sciacca AG, still on the island of Sicily.

Playing with numbers. According to Meg James November 18, 2015 article in the Los Angeles Times “Political ad spending estimated at $6 billion in 2016” Wells Fargo Securities projected a massive lot of money might be spent in terms of political spending.

Well the 2016 Presidential Race, (I think all other races in 2016 are definitely going to take a back seat to this one), began with 23 focused and potential candidates. A very basic calculation shows that each candidate will cause about $260,869,565.22 to be flitted away in a total of 11 months. And now after just 1 month has passed and 10 candidates have withdrawn from the race, how much money will be saved and spent on the real needs of this United States of America?

The obvious answer “NONE”… and I didn’t even use the new Common Core Math.

Just learned something new. The word “kerfuffle” meaning a commotion or fuss, especially caused by conflicting views is derived from Scots Gaelic.

Andy's and my new Elation quilt and wall-hanging. Parts 1 and 2 now joined. Part 3 on the docket. Appliqueing should prove interesting. Still working on quilting design. Projected perimeter 160".
