This morning I cycled my Schwinn 170 24.0 miles. My totals are now 33,707.7 miles; 54,247.4 kilometers.
And I am currently located at 35.85% to my new destination and goal point on the Red Planet. This distance between these two points is 590 miles.
This Trek seems to be going on forever. Well yes, 1,572 pedaling days since I began December 2, 2012. I now have 4,493.9 miles left to go to reach my goal of 38,201.6 miles.
Something new and different –
The only thing I can inject regarding the current White House administration...
Red Cranes - 1st 2 sets of 6” Cranes blocks completed for 2 Cranes Quilts. 4 more sets to be completed: 1 more with 6” Cranes; 2 with 5”; and 1 with 4”.
Cranes Quilts for the next shades of Orange.
We must be crazy.
Yes, completely.

Something new and different –
Is it my imagination or are persons becoming more and more “psychotic”?
“For the two Native American brothers, Colorado State University was their dream school.
But when they showed up for a campus tour, a parent of another prospective student called the police on them because they apparently made her "nervous," the school said.”
Yesterday morning, after visiting the local vampire bank, I pedaled my Schwinn 170 24.0 miles. This morning I cycled another 24.6 miles this morning. Totals are now 33,659.1 miles; 54,169.2 kilometers.
I am currently located at 27.62% to my new destination and goal point on the Red Planet.
The top to our newest and latest Cranes Quilt has be quilted. Next steps, clean-up, blocking, and binding.
It is so much better than either Andy or I expected.
Marijke van Welzen is creating an outstanding Cranes Coat. Her work is astounding.
We created the colored Cranes with Kimberly Einmo's Solid-ish fabric and Marijke's work brings them to a new and vivid life.
Marijke's Cranes Coat will be included in our Cranes Project display.
Our Cranes Quilt Update - The binding is now being attached.
And today we begin # 1 of 40 of our Cranes Project's Spectrum of Cranes. This should be a great adventure and experience.
All of the 40 Cranes Quilts have been designed. The complete fabric color line has been chosen. All of the Cranes Spectrum will include Cranes of the sizes of 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-inch.
The Cranes Spectrum will, at this count include 1,022 Cranes.
For further information I jotted some notes about our Cranes Obsession at our site Quilts SB at http://quiltsb.blogspot.com/.
Just thinking about the DNA news and the resolution of the outstanding serial murderer.
On one hand there is a pro argument; case closed, the alleged murder has been captured. On the con side, this may have taken the Genealogy DNA business back a couple of steps.
“History is peppered with examples of DNA tracing gone wrong. Take the phantom female serial killer whose genetic material turned up at dozens of crime scenes across Europe. The matches were so consistent, police were sure it had to be a prolific murderess. In fact, the DNA was so perfectly matched because it belonged to a woman who worked at the cotton swab factory where police got their supplies (the swabs weren’t certified for DNA collection—oops!).”

“But to grow an elephant embryo without harming adult female elephants, Church says his team needs to grow the embryo "in vitro in the lab." The hope is to create a "vascularised decidua" from stem cells -- uterine lining that has its own vascular structure of blood vessels to support life.”
Andy and I are amazed at how the composition of our Crane blocks and the starkness of the white background allows each Cranes Quilt to bring out a life of its own.
The Cranes in this latest quilt are all 4-inch blocks. Each Crane is out-lined quilted. The pebble-quilting is composed in an ascending range of 4 sizes.
In answer to the questions that we have received concerning our Crane Quilts obsession, I have jotted down some notes on a post at our Quilts SB website. Check it out at http://quiltsb.blogspot.com/.
We are now working on the design and composition of 40 more Crane Quilts.

Just my immediate opinion.

“A recent study by a group of geologists discovered that the mountain used by North Korea for its nuclear bomb testing has collapsed as a result of the explosions. The collapsed mountain is raising concerns about radioactive fallout, which could make its way into China.”

“Whether a Thai curry, a noodle salad from Vietnam, a stir-fry from China (one “China” in the kitchen? Ha! Dozens of Chinas there), a Korean roast pork, a Japanese ramen, fried rice of Indonesia, or a Philippine adobo, the commonplace among them is an attempt at balance.”
What the media is not saying is that the facility/application that may have been used is GEDMatch which is a free online application. It is not necessarily the DNA-offering companies that are allowing accessibility to the data. DNA clients have an option to put their own data out on GEDMatch.
