Day 155 – (AD 381) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 21.8 Miles – Still in Texas on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

First thing this morning 20 sit-ups. Next I fed The Pack. I am not sure that I understand Radar. I pick the bowls up from the floor in preparation of filling them for each one’s meal. The next thing I know he, Radar, has taken off to the farthest point away on the outside patio. He begins his yowling, and then I have to call him back into the kitchen. He goes through a number of goofy jumping jacks and then settles in to chow down his Buffalo kibble. Strange dog. Must be something with the ears.

Oh and all I have to do is bring out my camera and if I point it at him…he becomes a ferocious anti-paparazzi hound.

Had to run a couple of errand this morning, but as soon as I returned home I cycled 21.8 miles. My total miles now on my Schwinn 150 equal 7,582.5.

This morning my Trek has me located on East Wallisville Road, north of Baytown and east of Lynchburg, Texas. It appears that I only have a short distance left to reach my 36th Interlake address goal.

And the weather in Tampa is overcast and rainy as opposed to sunny with intermittent showers. But the orchids are blooming.

This morning I finished watching the last and 45th episode of The 4400. And there are no more visual episodes, but I have discovered that there are two books that follow where the series ends. And the books are already on my Kindle library. Now I have to find a new cycling watching companion.

The top of our quilt and wall hanging BW 1950 has been completed. Fabric has been sorted and chosen for its companion piece BW 2010. 4-New afghan/throw has now reached a length of 12 inches.

Day 154 – (AD 380) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 21.1 Miles – Welcome the New Year in Texas on My Schwinn 150

Good day and Happy January 1st,

Today begins a New Year - 2014 AD. Damn, I made it.

And this morning I cycled 21.1 miles and completed 20 sit-ups. I start the New Year having accomplished 7,560.7 miles on my Schwinn 150. I can now write that I have cycled consecutively across three years: 2012, 2013, and 2014.

I am headed south on TX-146 S, and I will soon reach Farm to Market 1413 W. Only 20.6 more miles to my next Interlake address goal point.

Apart from being New Year’s Day it is also Bloody Mary Day, Z Day, Commitment Day, and Polar Bear Swim Day. Well forget the Polar Bear Swim but I’ll definitely break out the Bloody Marys and commit to my Zs.

And which politician and/or which would-be politician will express and/or do something completely asinine first, out of the gate this New Year of 2014?

Last night I made a dish of shrimp, mushroom, onion, black olives, green peas, Swiss cheese, rice and vegetable broth Risotto. I did not have any white wine in the house so I used some Vodka and lemon juice instead. I understand the premise of making a risotto… but, I am not sure if my final product, even though the meal was excellent, is the way it is supposed to taste. Okay I’m not saying that that is an issue, but when I watch any “chef” on any of the cooking stations or programs they are always mentioning about the “al dente” format of the finished rice. Can anyone tell me what it is that I am supposed to be expecting?

My concoction looked something similar to the above image. And I had a double helping. We all did.

I have about one-and-a-half episode remaining of my viewing companion, The 4400. From what I understand the producers pulled the plug. Looks like I will be searching for a new cycling viewing series and/or movies to watch. Any suggestions?

Day 152 – (AD 378) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 20.8 Miles – 7,500 Miles in Texas on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

Another goal accomplished this morning; 7,518.9 miles. I cycled 20.8 miles on my Schwinn 150.

My virtual location this morning is at I-69/US-59 S/U.S. Hwy 59 S on my way to Wonderland Drive. I am just southwest of the City of Shepherd, Texas; population 2,400, give or take. I am now about 1,100 miles away from my home address in Tampa.

Julia Cameron in her books mentions “synchronicity”. The first definition that appeared when I searched the Internet from Merriam-Webster was “the coincidental occurrence of events and especially psychic events (as similar thoughts in widely separated persons or a mental image of an unexpected event before it happens) that seem related but are not explained by conventional mechanisms of causality —used especially in the psychology of C. G. Jung.”

Okay cue the Twilight Zone music. Yesterday, in a conversation, I mentioned someone from my past of whom I had been acquainted with just about 20 years ago. I stated that I had not had, no was there any need of, any connection with that specific person. Well, this morning I was skimming and reading some local news articles, and to my wandering eyes what should appear but an article centered about and concerning, with images, of the exact same person I had been discussing. Is there a reason for the connection? Hell if I know. Does Julia Cameron’s “synchronicity” become a part of my vernacular? Hell yes!

And yes I completed my 750 Words, my morning pages. To date in December I have written 22,925 words. In 174 days I have completed 132,674 words. And these do not include the words I write for my Blogs.

Okay is it because I have not answered any of the previous emails that the amount of money has been reduced? This time only $5.2 million. And I did not know that I had a “dying sister” named Mrs. Rosalind Caldwell. Nor did I realize that I did have an immediate sibling who lives in Japan. Her email address indicates that she may be or have been an employee of AT&T in that country.

It appears that Mrs. Rosalind Caldwell is my alleged younger sister, which of course I never knew that I had. I was never informed that there had been another immediate blood member of our clan. Also the widow Mrs. Caldwell; her husband, a UN Peacekeeper who was killed in the civil war in Côte d’Ivoire, is “sadly” dying from cancer and at 61 years old she is not capable of bearing any children due to some “Fibroid Disease” which affects my (her) Womb.”

Yes another bright and early morning “419” email scam. It is an “Advance Fee / Fake Lottery Scam” which may be originating from Nigeria or some other country in Africa. I’m sorry Mrs. Rosalind Caldwell.  You better find another brother.

Season Four, Episode 8 of The 4400 is an interesting one. The plot is a number of players, that is, actors from both camps who are playing a game against the computer controlling their building location. Interesting, but I do think that a similar story line was used, or vice versa, in the series Stargate. (And I watched all seasons of that one.)

Day 145 – (AD 370) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 21.5 Miles – 35th Interlake Goal on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

Today I cycled 21.5 miles on my Schwinn 150. And yes I am continuing through this holiday season. The blood sugar is up to 110 this morning, but of course I am pigging out on treats and other types of Christmas goodies. So I burned 668 calories and I cycled for 1 hour and 5 minutes.

I reached my 35th Interlake goal address. It is a community southeast of Tyler, Texas called Interlake Hills. My goal point is the “B” marker in the image. I am now 993 miles from my home point in Tampa, Florida. Just think this journey, this Trek is soon done. I then turned and headed back north to a point where I will be headed southeast on TX-64 E toward County Road 293.

One the first Christmas Carols I learned; Grade 3, Dorval Gardens, Montreal... A very nice memory.



A new orchid blooms on the patio. This flower is so, so delicate. I am enthralled and bewitched.

And one journey ends a new one begins.

Day 144 – (AD 369) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 20.2 Miles – Which Witch is Which on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

This morning I awoke and I mentally struggled whether or not I should get on my Schwinn 150. I did take yesterday off from cycling and I thoroughly enjoyed my birthday… And thanks to all for the well wishes.

And I would like to get one thing straight. Someone asked me if I thought whether this new year would incite reflections of “it’s all downhill from here”. My immediate response, “NO.” I stated that I have too much to do and learn. I am not ready to see the end of this journey. I am ready for new journeys, new expeditions; both real and virtual. I have not as yet thrown in the towel.

And so, as I was saying, I got on my Schwinn 150 and cycled another 20.2 miles. I have now only clocked 7,350.6 miles. (D.O., this morning I finished my 20.2 miles in 1 hour and 1 minute and I burned 664 calories. Needed to burn off the two Grey Goose Gimlets.)

My virtual Trek has me headed east on TX-64 toward Skyway Blvd. I am east of Tyler Pounds Regional Airport. I am now 21 miles from my next Interlake address goal. This will be my 35th Trek goal.

Sitting on one's porch and watching the sun set in Putin-land, is it possible to humanize speech?

And while watching the next episode of The 4400, I was trying to figure out who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. From the fictional and fantasy train of thought I was trying to figure out which and who was a part of which side. My train of thought immediately moved to the present day and the professed squabbling on some of the social media sites.

L. Frank Baum created four witches in his land of OZ; the good witches in the north and the south and the evil witches in the east and the west. In the first book both wicked witches are killed. Then a new wicked witch of the north is introduced in his second. Later I believe he added another wicked one. Well that is four wicked and two good witches. So the my question today is which witch is which? Be afraid. Be very afraid.

New coffeemaker made it to the house. Surprise. With surprise discounts and sales I saved $90.00. I am now obliged to get back on my Schwinn 150.

This morning, I decided to take the day off from cycling. I can’t cycle cause me Breville Keurig coffee-maker broke down. Got to brave the day and hit the stores in search of a new and replacement one.

Day 143 – (AD 368) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 20.8 Miles – Still Texas on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

To be awakened by four bouncing, boisterous, barking, balancing on my belly mini canines…well you get the picture.

This morning I completed 20.8 miles in 1 hour and 5 minutes on my Schwinn 150. I have now completed 7,330.4 miles. And just thinking, but I now know that I have to complete 670 more miles just to say that I reached the 8,000 mile mark.

I am headed southeast on TX-64 E toward County Road 4410. I have about another 42 more miles to reach my 35th Interlake goal.

Can we be sure that social media will not soon take a leap to where Disney has been working? The realm and technology of DHI - Disney Host Interactive and Daylight Hologram Imaging. I am not a betting man but I would say that we may be seeing this sooner than we can imagine. What will become reality and what will be the virtual reality? Oh, and I will just continue my Trek. Or is that Tom Hanks just shaking hands with the real Walt? Who are the Kingdom Keepers?



Disney's new attempt to find a new Harry Potter series?

Recently I was asked “Why the Interlake goals?” My immediate response…it is my method that I have set for myself in order “to make fun” the idea of doing a Trek, mind you virtual, while at the same time actually exercising and getting a reasonable daily work out. I am now cycling, in the real world, an average of 20 miles each day in just over a daily hour. My virtual Trek has been to set some goals that were somehow removed from the actual and physical goals that, to me, were somewhat arbitrary. I just had to do the exercise…my age and the doctors seemed to concur. So why not make it in some way, fun, and eliminate the tedium of exercise.

The 4400, my Trek viewing companion: A wedding, a conspiracy edge by a company under the government's auspices fighting against the government's department which is trying to protect those from the one's who are hired by the government that are attempting to squash the movement. And if that makes sense, a key character returns.

Four Vanderbilt panels have been attached. Afghans SB is now a definite two-part effort.

Day 142 – (AD 367) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 20.5 Miles – Now 7,300 Miles on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

This morning on my Schwinn 150 I cycled 20.5 miles in 1 hour and 5 minutes.  I have now topped 73,00 miles, actually 7,309.6.

I am currently located on TX-64 E/Corky Boyd Avenue. It appears that I am headed in a southeasterly direction toward Canton, Texas. I’m coming up on Hackberry Lane. I must be truly in the back country as from the image on Google Maps which was taken almost seven years ago certainly shows it.

This morning the spirit of giving and Christmas and Chanukah and Kwanza and Festivus and whatever else must be in the air especially in the wires of Internetland. We must truly pray for her speedy recovery. That is, for the recovery of the saintly Mrs. Debra Whitman who from her hospital bed was able to hunt-and-peck me a quick message that she hoped first that I was feeling fine. (Such a true heart at this holiday time of the year…) Well dear Mrs. Debra Whitman must be feeling in such a merry, merry way that she is willing to forgo her hospitalization and would like to share with little ole me a paltry sum of $45.3 million dollars…in the spirit of the season “to Use for charity.” I wonder just how she, via her Hotmail address, is just tightly sitting, or maybe lying down, “needs your (my) help with, waiting to hear from you (me)”? Such a Merry Christmas… Not!

Once off my Schwinn 150 I made myself a Strawberry Banana Smoothie. Ingredients: frozen banana, frozen strawberries, strawberry banana yogurt, ice and water. This will keep me until lunch time.

The 4400 is just at the stage of Season Three and including the episodes that I have to try to remember which sub-plot is which. It is somewhat confusing if anyone just jumps into any random episode and the viewer would not be able to keep in touch with what is going on. It's sort of like The Game of Thrones where there are so many things going on that it only makes sense to begin watching from the beginning.

Work continues on both BW 1950 quilt and wall hanging and our Vanderbilt afghan.

Just wondering, after an encounter while walking The Pack, as I age will I truly think that I have the right to have my opinion be the only one that counts?

Day 137 – (AD 360) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 22.0 Miles – More on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

And I had errands to run today, those that caused me just to shift some of my priorities. But I did get my cycling on my Schwinn 150 done. I cycled another 22.0 miles and I burned 660 calories. The rewards that I am definitely relishing, due to this crazy cycle and Trek thing, are the ones that assuredly compliment me on the way that I am now looking. Most definitely, Thank You. And right now my eyes are so dilated that I am just watching my screens encompassed in a haze and fog.

My location this morning was on the US-380 E east of Decatur, Texas and headed toward N County Line Road. I have now got 7,198.3 miles physically under my legs. Not bad for an almost old dude just shy of one week of beginning my 63rd year on this earth.

And I keep hearing ads on the radio for Pajamagram. When the announcer states that anyone can get Christmas pajamas for the whole finally including the cat and dog, I can only shake my head in disbelief. And yes I found the website. But it is the poor dog and cat. And yes I know that the models are paid for their time and hairspray, but just who in the hell buys Christmas pajamas for the whole family including the dog and cat? I am at a loss trying to get my head around whether we have we really come to this?

It is almost, not quite, but almost as bad as the Santa repartee that exited of the mouth of the Fox channel’s Megyn Kelly. Are we actually employing people to further dumb down the inhabitants on this planet?

Okay my blood pressure is down now. Actually I can actually say that I am glad that I have become obsessed with my cycling…for now, and after 360 days. And I was privy to hear a clip of a discussion and interview with Dr. Joel Fuhrman. (JK, good name.) Guess what I am doing is what he does proselytize.

My viewing pleasure this morning was a wee bit screwed up. That is, my Netflix connection on my Chromecast wasn’t working. So I actually watched the next episode of The 4400 on my iPad. It worked.

Work on our BW 1950 quilt has begun and it is amazing at the sizes of the pieces. All five bands of our new Vanderbilt afghan have been finished. Three have been edged.

Day 136 – (AD 359) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 21.6 Miles – Bridgeport, Texas on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

This morning I cycled another 21.6 miles on my Schwinn 150. My total is up to 7,176.3 miles.

I made it to the City of Bridgeport, Texas, population somewhere about 6,000. I am located on US-380 E and I am now only about 48 miles from my 33rd Interlake address goal point.

I learned a new ology word this morning “Hymnology”. It is the study of religious song or the hymn with focus on choral and congregational song. There appears to be a distinction between this type of music and contemporary Christian music. And I just recollect the Deacons blaming the studs in our jeans for scratching the pews at Grace Memorial. Hey, I am always learning.

In the past while I have been researching the thoughts and details about shape shifting. (First of all I am NOT, not do I beleive that I am or have the ability to shift shapes.) I have discovered that I think that my Shapeshifter may be a Mestaclocan. In an early Mayan text, the Shapeshifter, or Mestaclocan, has the ability to change his or her appearance and to manipulate the minds of animals. I notice that shape shifting can also include fantastical beings as well as humans. I began this search and research about a year ago with the possible thought of maybe writing something.

Julia Cameron in her book, The Artist's Way discusses and highlights synchronicity. From Wikipedia, the first line begins "Synchronicity is the experience of two or more events as meaningfully related, whereas they are unlikely to be causally related". It is defined as "the simultaneous occurrence of events that appear significantly related but have no discernible causal connection."

Well this morning while watching The 4400, Season 3 Episode 3, Being Tom Baldwin, I am intriqued that one of the characters has the ability to take on the forms of other members of the story. Okay, I am a tiny bit freaked out. Say what?

This appears to provide me some indication that three non-related events, my research, my reading and studying Julia Cameron's The Artist's Way and The 4400 episode, of which I was just watching in the sequence of viewing events, that there is some deal with synchronicity. I am a bit dumbfounded, and I realize that I am only along for the ride. No pun intended.

Day 134 – (AD 357) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 22.0 Miles – Yes, Still Texas on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

And I cycled 22.0 miles this morning on my Schwinn 150. I am now burning an average of about 634 calories each and every time I cycle. Since I began my exercise I have lost about 7.6 pounds. Not much, but it is the changes to my body mass and the reduction of my waist that are just amazing. I have lost 11 ½” on my waist and the new 34” shorts that I recently bought now need to be taken in.

Today I cycled, virtually, through the City of Graham in north central Texas. The population is about 9,000. From my location on US-380 E I am somewhere northeast of Graham and I am headed towards Jacksboro.

I am beginning to truly wonder about the brainwaves and neo-inspired meteorological coverage by our local media. Currently at just about Noon in Tampa, with all my windows open and barefoot, the temperature is 79.6° F. The humidity is 68% and there is a 12% change of precipitation. If you ask me, that is the almost perfect weather, just the way that I would like to live for the rest of my days. So where does our “esteemed” media have the audacity to throw out the headlines this morning, “Cold front will bring slight heat relief to Tampa”? What relief? Cold is cold. It ain’t relief if I have to put any socks on. I think the weather people should stick to studying the weather and let someone else write their text.

Today I completed the 12th week and all the tasks of Julia Cameron’s The Artist’s Way. Bingo… and I am ready to move on to my next writing adventure.

All five bands have been finished for our new afghan Vanderbilt. Now begins the edging of each. The third color has been chosen. The design is in process.  Check back to Afghans SB for progress.

Work on another new quilt wall hanging design started. It is to be created by a combination of 0.8" squares and triangles with a third side equal to 1.13". Okay I am crazy but Andy took my design and calculations and then came back with an amazing sample. Small stitches and open pressing. Now we have to sort the fabrics.  See details at Quilts SB.

Began the 3rd season of The 4400. I think I have figured out a couple of reasons why the producers stopped the series. Lost was one of the competitive series aired by ABC just about the same time in 2004. It is just a ratings’ game. And since I have never seen Lost, guess what might be my next cycling viewing companion.

Day 131 – (AD 354) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 22.4 Miles – Still in Texas on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

This morning, another 22.4 miles on my Schwinn 150. Total to date 7,067.5 miles.

I am located on US-380 E and soon will be passing through the Town of Throckmorton, Texas; population about 830. I am sort of situated, virtually in about the central north of the State. I have about 160 more miles to get to my 33rd Interlake address goal point.

Damn another email solicitation.  This time and this one is different, and I immediately think of the Herman Hermits. Mrs. Linda Brown emailed me early this morning to my attention that she has registered my ATM CARD with the Sky Courier Company. This is where I become a wee bit confused. It appears that Mrs. Brown, that is, Mrs. Linda Brown has registered only $2.7. Now is that two-point-seven dollars or is that two-point-seven million? But she has provided me with a contact person at the Sky Courier Office, a Dr. Mike Walter. She so kindly offers me a telephone number as well as an email address, I think for Dr. Mike Walter. The email address has to be somewhere in Europe - @shqiptar.eu.

Now Mrs. Brown very nicely has paid the “Insurance & Delivery fee”. I only have to cough up “their Security fee” which I have to “ask Him how much is their Security fee so that you (I) can pay it”. Now why does Mrs. Linda Brown bring a deity, aka God, into the picture? What does He have to do with the $2.7 sum?

From what I can figure out Mrs. Brown must be living in Venezuela as her email address is @cantv.net. And Dr. Mike Walter, I wonder if that he is a PhD or whether he is one of those white coat, (they’re coming to take me away), doctors. His email address has him registered in Albania. The distance from Caracas to Albania is 5,588 miles and then from Albania to Tampa I can add another 5,566 more miles. So that is 11,154 electronic miles just to get $2.70? I don’t think so.

I hope Mrs. Brown and Dr. Walter are enjoying their day.

And just two hours I received another spam-derful email from a Mrs. Olga Safonaca Patarkatsishvili. Okay its Milli Vanilli time. This time Mrs. Olga is asking for my “assistant”.” In her words “i need your assistant”. I didn’t know that I had an “assistant”, except that maybe someone thinks that Andy’s quilting work in well worth tapping into. Mrs. Olga is offering to my “assistant” a share of 30%. Hell isn’t 30% of nothing, nothing?

And from what I have figured out Mrs. Olga, etcetera, etcetera emailed me from Brazil, from the Court of the State of Alagoas. This time this person wants me to respond back to Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, North Carolina. Okay, wonder if Mrs. Olga has a relative who is a transfer student?

The 4400, the continuing series is definitely a plus for me as I am cycling on my Schwinn 150. It keeps my mind entrenched in the story and focused so that I do not get bored with my cycling. This is definitely a suggestion that I would make to anyone who would like to start up a regime of cycling on a stationary bicycle.

Day 130 – (AD 353) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 22.2 Miles – Texas, Somewhere I Think on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

But today I did jump on my Schwinn 150 and I cycled 22.2 miles. And as I am writing today’s post I am listening to The Mamas & The Papas singing Go Where You Wanna Go. Somewhat apropos…

I’m back in the saddle again on my Schwinn 150. I only missed one day yesterday but I sort of felt a bit guilty, yesterday that is. It is a strange feeling that I do feel guilty especially as I’m truly not doing this Trek for anyone else but me. So why feel guilty? Good question for you shrinks and psychologists out there in Internetland.

According to my location on Google maps I am heading east on US-380 E toward County Road 421. I am in Texas somewhere between the Town of Rule, population 700, and the City of Haskell, population 3,100. Right now the temperature in the area is about 20° F and it feels like 5° F. There is a weather warning that icy conditions will continue through this afternoon.

Well, at least I can say that I am on a virtual Trek through Texas. I know that the National Weather Service issued a winter storm warning for the Dallas area until Friday night. I’m definitely convinced that to avoid a forecast of light freezing rain and an ice storm that knocked out power to nearly a quarter of a million homes and businesses I will continue my Trek in Tampa on my Schwinn 150.

Oh and by the way, I have the house open here in Tampa, I’m bare-foot, and it is a fair 83° F. And another orchid has blossomed.

Okay, The 4400 has had an assassination; I’m not sure if that character has been written off the show. I will have to wait and see, especially since the corpse sort of just disappears. The writers have now introduced two new characters, both 4400s and both with special powers. How convenient to add some more sub-plots when I am still somewhat confused at some of the other plot lines.

Day 129 ½ - (AD 352 ½) – Jim’s Trek Part II – The Sequel – Still in Texas, But I’m Taking A Day Off

Good Day,

Due to some scheduling of early morning appointments I have decided to take a day off from my cycling on my Schwinn 150. This will be my 16th day of not cycling since I started this Trek December 2 a year ago.

Back on the cycle tomorrow.

Day 129 – (AD 352) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 21.1 Miles – Texas, Somewhere I Think on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

Yes, I completed another 21.1 miles today on my Schwinn 150. This is Day 352 of cycling continuously; give 15 days, which takes me now to the 367th day since I began this crazy Trek. I have now cycled a grand total of 7,022.9 miles. My present goal is to cycle another 1,462 miles for a total of 8,484.9 miles, give or take one or ten.

Today I began my virtual Trek at Marker A and continued the 21.1 miles to Marker B. I am located east of the Town of Aspermont, population about 920. Marker C is supposedly the final stop of my Trek.

I am on US-380 E or otherwise known as Swenson Avenue. The top left image was taken in 2010 by Billy Hathorn of downtown Aspermont, Texas.

Today is a celebration or acknowledgement I will not be following. Today is “Wear Brown Shoes Day”. No one knows why or how it is, it just is… but I am going barefoot. My Birkenstocks are brown. Does that count?

I wonder if the EU fines to a number of major banks for the alleged manipulation of benchmark interest rates will affect any of the interest rates that we pay on credit cards? Just wondering. And will the customers soon have to bear additional astronomical increases to offset for the fines?

This morning watching The 4400 while I cycled on my Schwinn 150 it became apparent that there is a touch of the theme of the Scientology philosophy attributed to one of the plot lines, if not the main one. Jordan Collier, check out his initials J.C., a 4400 and sort of one of the leaders, is building a progressive 4400 institute. Once you pay and give time to the organization, and take classes you move up levels. Accordingly, the similarity is supposed to be phased after the first season. We’ll see…

And one can guarantee that The Pack is not in the least bit interested that the house is being cleaned. Or should I say, attempted to be cleaned?

Day 128 – (AD 351) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 22.6 Miles – 7,001.8 Miles on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

And today I celebrate. I cycled 22.6 miles on my Schwinn 150 and I topped 7,001.8 miles.

I am now located on my Trek on US-380 E in Kent County,Texas just north east of the Norssi Field Airport. Guess there’s not much else to see as the Google Maps image was taken just almost five years ago.

What am I to do?

This morning I received an email inviting me to celebrate the fact that a victim of Typhoon Haiyan, “a Business Magnate who lived in China for Nineteen years…” has left me the possibility of $18.4 million dollars. This email is guaranteeing me that “this transaction is 100% risk free” and that I will be able to share “40% for you (me), and 60% for me (him).” Only condition is that I am “willing to collaborate with me (him) or now so that I (him) can further my (his) search for another partner (sucker)”. And pray tell who is Weisheng Bojing Yongrui from @asia.com? And how did he (that is, he) know to contact me “based on Trust (with a capital T) and confidentially that is attached to this transaction.”

I just LOVE the generosity of some people’s sons. And I LOVE that implication that “I guarantee that if you are willing and interested, I will put all in place in accordance with the Law to legally present you as the Next of Kin and true beneficiary.” How blatant is that? Weisheng Bojing Yongrui is guaranteeing me. How nice. I can’t wait for my tremendous fortune. I must run and tell Jessica Rabbit.

We have completed our newest and latest quilt, K&J 2013. It is Q114 and details and images have been added to Quilts SB. Quilting work continues on our Tampa Kaleidoscope quilt. And the design for CK’s GPS is in progress. I need to review our quilt schedule for the upcoming year and where it is that we want to be when we learn the new techniques and stages of this skill and craft. Work continues on our sixth band for our new Vanderbilt afghan.

The 4400, my viewing companion has now become a why-did-that-happen and why-and-who-is-who-chasing. There appears to be confusion but I suppose that is intentional to keep video-thrill-mongers as myself to keep coming back…and back, and back. There is sort of a “if we build it they will come” type attitude happening

Day 127 – (AD 350) – Jim's Trek Part II – The Sequel – 21.2 Miles – One Year on My Schwinn 150

Good day,

This morning I completed 21.2 miles on my Schwinn 150. I have now racked up 6,979.2 miles. And today is the anniversary of this Trek of mine; a Trek with the intention of seeing what would happen if I cycled, on a stationary bike for a period of one year. I have been cycling every day with the exception of 15 for a period of the complete year: December 2nd, 2012 to December 2nd, 2013. And as I write this post to celebrate my success John Denver is singing Annie’s Song.

Today I have written my 366^th post to Jim's Trek.

Today I am located on my virtual trek at a point on TX-208 N/US-380 E. I think I am coming up on Broadway, Texas and I have 245 more miles until I reach my next Interlake address goal.

And watching The 4400 is getting sort of confusing… The Feds are investigating The 4400 who are investigating other 4400s while there are other Feds investigating some Feds who are bonding with some of The 4400s. And if that doesn’t make sense then there is the light from above which is something else that just some hints are given just to some of the people, both Feds and 4400s. Did you get that? And everything takes place in Vancouver, and how convenient…there were 44 episodes and then the show was pulled. I only have 39 more episodes to go.
