Some of the orchids are blooming this morning. Hey, it’s winter time in Tampa.
This morning I felt that I could not go another day without getting on my Schwinn 170, and today I cycled 21.4 miles. I have now reached a grand total of 14,807.1 miles; 23,830.1 kilometers. Just 192.9 miles until the amazing 15,000.
I am still on my antibiotics for this damn flu but I figured that I had stayed off my cycle for a total of 5 days and that was enough. And I’m eating a bowl of my 50-Cloves of Garlic Soup right now. (Check out my Jim’s Gotta Eat site if you would like to get the idea of how to brew the concoction.)
Here’s the Google satellite picture of my current position, Marker B, somewhere in the outback of the Northern Territory.
On my virtual Trek I am headed south on the National Highway 87. I am just at 399 miles from my next destination and goal point.
I’m a couple of days late getting these numbers out but I can blame it on the flu or on the addition of another year to my age. Here are my recorded stats as of today –
Sleep soundly IV, my friend- and traveler-in-arms. I will miss you.
