Day 105 – (AD 535) – Jim's Trek Part III – 21.7 Miles – A Forest in Western Australia on My Schwinn 170

Good Day,

Well it is another day on my Schwinn 170. Today’s miles 21.7. My total to date 10,854.6 miles; 17,468.8 kilometers. My weight is keeping at a constant average of 164 lbs and my average blood sugar is hovering around 96.8 mg/dL since I began my Jim’s Trek III.

I am moving in a westerly direction on the Eyre Highway on my virtual Trek through Western Australia. It looks like I have found myself in a forest, still dry but a forest. And I can definitely forget about spotting a Koala Bear on my current route and location. Accordingly there has none been present in this part of Australia for at least 10,000 years.

And scalpers, as well, are selling tickets for the Joel Osteen Tour… only $850.00. To hear a Christian preacher in an auditorium turned to church meeting place. (Thanks GRS for the note.)

According to Matthew 21:12 (KJV),

… Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves.

And pray tell the difference for a $5,000.00 a plate at an itinerant politician’s campaign roast? Which god is each serving? I think I’ll stop in at Jacob’s Pizza.

Work continues on to the finishing of our Tampa Kaleidoscope quilt. I've got to write up some of our completed quilts and wall hangings at Quilts SB. Got to get caught up on our schedule of to-be-done.

Enjoy Father’s Day tomorrow.

If you are reading this blog and just so happen to be somewhere along my route in Australia please feel free to drop me a line at jsmith58@gmail.com. Certainly would welcome it.

Trying to be healthy and keep on pedaling.

Enjoy,

Jim
